How to get a job

You graduated from college, or from high school. It is now time to start work. How does one get a job? This article explains how.

It is not necessary that you become employed to work. If you wish, you may become self employed and become an entrepreneur. This may involve starting your own business (click here for a guide) or it may involve setting up a YouTube channel, etc. Self employment is great at it allows you to:

If you cannot cough up the ability to start a business or have no need to, then you will want to apply for a job instead. This will allow you to be hired by an employer, who will let you make money while working for them.

How to apply for a job

To apply for a job, go onto the Internet and search for a job application to apply. Job applications for a job might be found on a company's website or on a job board. What is a job board? A job board is an aggregate website that hosts the links to many job applications. You can search for a job on the job board and apply. Examples of job boards include Indeed.com, ZipRecruiter, and jobboardiguess™. When filling out the job application, you may need to put personal information about yourself, as well as add a resume. Search the Internet to figure out how to make a resume.

What to do after you have applied?

Usually you wait until the employer calls back to do an interview. Then after the interview stage can you say you have gotten the job.

Any other advice?

You aren't guaranteed to get the first job you applied to. Sometimes you might fill out dozens of applications before somebody calls back. Always remain dilligent and fill out as many applications as you can.
